To have the many wonderful
species visit your garden requires much thought, time and planning,
however the rewards are totally outstanding.
Try to place your
feeders close to the birds natural habitat |
Always have feeders stationed safe from predators. |
Bird tables should be fixed to the ground, thus avoiding blowing
over in high winds. |
Use different types of hanging bird feeders. |
Birds may trap their feet and legs in the nut netting type of
feeder. |
The wider the selection of seeds available, the wider the variety
of birds which will visit your garden. |
Establish a regular feeding routine. |
Have food available to suit a days demand. |
Never allow uneaten foods to accumulate. |
Always have water available. |
Remember that it's of the utmost importance to feed birds all the
year round. |
Stop feeding and the birds will search elsewhere for food, thus
departing your garden. |
